Came upon the work of graphic designer/artist Christopher Ryan at atmostheory.

"ATMOSTHEORY is the one-man design studio of Christopher David Ryan... a Brooklyn-based graphic artist, daydreamer, pseudo-scientist, wanna-be astronaut and untrained intellectual who tends to find inspiration in pretty much anything... especially music, the universe, the human condition and natural phenomena."

And somehow, I really, really relate to that description.

He also has a brilliant daily visual blog here.

Not Tord Boontje

More wall display pics from LA....NOT Tord Boontje, yet still an enchanted forest. Don't you wish you had a laser cutter too?

paper dis-play

While visiting a certain lifestyle clothing store in LA (which shall remain nameless), I was admiring the great wall displays...simply made of paper.

Just got back from LA to visit a dear friend....and in her guest room hung this fabulous print. Very japonesque and clean. More great work can be found at binth.
